Michael Twomey – Principal Trainer and Course DesignerMichael Twomey is in great demand as a course designer, presenter and training consultant. He has a growing number of client firms for whom he designs bespoke training sessions in liaison with the firms' in-house trainers, practitioners and information officers. These clients include leading corporate law firms within the City and elsewhere. He has some 14 years' experience designing and delivering training courses, seminars and conferences on a wide range of corporate and commercial areas of law. In addition to working with many of the leading law firms in England and Wales, he has designed and delivered courses for other organisations such as the Department of Trade and Industry and DEFRA. Michael trained at Slaughter and May, qualifying into the corporate department. He later joined The College of Law, London, becoming Principal Lecturer and College Head of Acquisitions and Mergers, before leaving to set up Legal and Commercial Training. He has acted as consultant and Principal Lecturer in business law at Oxford Institute of Legal Practice and is currently a consultant with the University of West of England, Bristol and The College of Law, the largest provider of legal education in Europe. |
