Contract Law Club

You are invited to join an online club that will meet monthly and regularly (hopefully on the first Wednesday of each month).  Each monthly session will comprise a one hour webinar that will be lead by me, Michael Twomey, but with plenty of opportunity for you to participate..  I will initially identify relevant cases and developments and will invite suggestions for topics for each sessions. The idea is to enable us to keep up-to-date with important developments and to analyse and identify their effect on how we advise clients and deal with transactions.

I have been delivering these update sessions for many years, face-to-face, with law firms in London. Given the current circumstances, I have decided to deliver these sessions online with the clear advantage of reaching a much wider audience, The sessions will focus, though not exclusively, on the law of England and Wales. We will also be able to deal with significant developments relating to contract law in other jurisdictions.

The face-to-face sessions have proved to be interesting, informative and valuable. It is hoped that this feedback can be replicated online.

Fee
There will be a fee of £30 for each webinar session though there is no need to attend any session to participate in the discussion in the Linkedin group.

Ongoing discussion and debate
You may not agree with how a particular case or other development is dealt with during the session or you may wish to discuss the issues further. I am considering the best way of enabling this and have, for the time being, created a Linkedin Group for this purpose. The advantage of using LinkedIn is that it may receive useful comments and contributions from people who are not in the 'club'. The link for the Group is here

Interested?
If you are interested in this forum, then please email me or sign up for the next webinar here.

I look forward to any comments that you may have on this idea.

Regards

Michael Twomey
